Purpose: The target population of the 28-month project is students from the University of Toronto’s Mississauga campus. The organization will establish a Project Advisory Committee, including students, police services, campus security, the Women’s Centre, and the Health and Counseling Centre. The project will review and update the existing safety audit on campus using a gender-based analysis lens. A "Campus Community Action Plan" will be developed, informed by young women's experiences, findings from the safety audit and the project advisory committee. This action plan will be disseminated as part of an education, awareness and prevention campaign entitled "Camp-Us" in order to continue to support ongoing learning activities, education and support on the issues of gendered violence.
