Purpose: This 36 month project will focus on immigrant women living in central Alberta who are vulnerable to unemployment, underemployment and poverty. This project will partner with other immigrant serving agencies and their clients, mainstream services, businesses, and the local college to engage in a consultative process. This process will identify current resources, as well as gaps and barriers to employment for immigrant women. A community plan will be developed to address the identified needs.
