Purpose: This 24 month project will work to increase the economic security and prosperity of low literacy immigrant and refugee women by addressing their needs and barriers. Community stakeholders including immigrant serving agencies, community and business stakeholders will be engaged in the development and piloting of customized, coordinated services that address the needs of these women, and the business community will be assisted in developing training and/or employment opportunities to bridge women to meaningful employment.
