Purpose: This 24-month project will engage Prince Edward Island youth and their communities to prevent and eliminate cyberviolence against young women and girls. Using engagement methods such as focus groups and digital tools, youth will help identify the issues of cyberviolence affecting young women and girls, and to expand their understanding of these issues. The project will work in collaboration with community stakeholders to increase their ability to identify and respond to the specific needs of young women and girls, and a network will be created to share information and strategies. In partnership with community stakeholders, young women and girls will carry out strategies to prevent or eliminate this form of gender-based violence in their community.
